What is Smart Pap?

Smart Pap is an innovative liquid-based Pap smear system that allows for improved detection of precancerous lesions and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Smart Pap Uses:

ADVANTAGES OF SMART PAP

  1. Preserves 100% of the collected sample.
  2. Removes up to 60% of inflammation, mucus, and blood, improving cellular clarity.
  3. Multiple slides can be prepared per patient, optimizing laboratory analysis.
  4. Slides contain an adequate number of cells, uniformly distributed.
  5. Cells are placed side by side, facilitating better microscopic examination.
  6. Because it is an endo- and exocervical brush, it allows for greater collection of endocervical cells, which improves sample quality and contributes to a more accurate diagnosis.
